Join us for a fun-filled, hands-on origami experience you won’t forget.

Get ready to fold, laugh, and create magic with paper as we bring you A Thousand Folds of Grace — a special origami crane class inspired by senbazuru (the Japanese tradition of folding 1,000 cranes).

We’re thrilled to welcome Sonya Nicholson, a talented local origami artist known around Columbia for turning simple sheets of paper into jaw-dropping little masterpieces. From whimsical animals to elegant flowers and clever geometric designs, Sonya has a gift for making art feel fun, approachable, and incredibly rewarding.

Whether you’re folding your very first crane or already have a secret stash of paper creations at home, Sonya will guide you step-by-step with her fun, encouraging teaching style. Expect plenty of creativity, a few giggles, and lots of those “wait… I made that?!” moments.

This experience is perfect for a creative date, a relaxing afternoon with friends, or a little mindful “me time.” All ages are welcome.
