You don’t have to own a horse to be a cowgirl.

You don’t have to live on a ranch, know how to rope, or have a closet full of turquoise jewelry. Although, if you do, we’re probably going to get along just fine. Around here, we think being a cowgirl has a lot more to do with HOW you live than where you live. A little grit. A little independence. A willingness to try something new. And preferably a pretty good sense of humor.

That’s our kind of cowgirl.

So, who are we?

Edgy Cowgirl started in Texas, made its way through Missouri, and landed in Montana in July 2026 when our family decided to take the reins. We’re a family of seven, which means five kids, plenty of chaos, a collection of animals, and very little chance of anything going exactly as planned.

But we like it that way. Most days.

We love Montana, getting outside, finding new places, building businesses, and occasionally convincing ourselves that adding one more project to the mix is a perfectly reasonable idea.

Taking over Edgy Cowgirl was one of those ideas… and we’re pretty excited about it.

We sell cute things online. But that’s not really the whole point.

Don’t get us wrong. We love a good graphic tee, a great pair of boots, and denim that makes you feel like you have your life together (even when you absolutely do not). But there are a million places to buy clothes and cute shoes, and we want Edgy Cowgirl to be something a little different.

We see it as a place to find things you love, discover something unexpected, share a few laughs, and connect with women who don’t take themselves too seriously. What we really are passionate about is creating a community of strong-willed, wild women.

Some of us grew up on ranches. Some of us grew up in suburbs. Some of us can back a horse trailer. Some of us can barely back into a parking space. And we love that there are so many ways that all of us choose to show up and show out in the world.

We don’t just want customers. We want a community.

Anyway, we are so glad you’re here.

We’re still writing the next chapter of Edgy Cowgirl, and we have a lot of ideas. We’re building collections, creating new experiences, hunting down unique finds, and bringing you along for whatever happens next.

Some of it will be planned. Some of it probably won’t. It’s all part of the adventure. We hope you’ll stick around, shop a bit, and tell us what you think.
